An article in the Yahoo health section triggered a thought that may help you with weight loss or just get good nutrition. The article, 3 Diet Myths Busted, by Joy Bauer, made several good points. If you are using Metabadrine with ephedra, this advise may help your weight loss efforts.
Many think that bananas will make you fat. I agree that they will not and that they are also a good source of fiber (3 grams), magnesium (32 mg), potassium (422 mg) and B6 (0.4 mg). Very few of us consume enough fiber. (Shameless plug: FibraSlim will help you get more fiber in your diet and it also stabilizes you blood sugar and delays stomach emptying.)
The awesome banana is also a raw or "living" food. Something we don't consume enough of anymore. Another bonus is consuming bananas that was listed in the Yahoo! article was that it is low in sodium and rich in potassium and magnesium. This can help manage normal blood pressure, incorporating bananas into an overall healthy diet may reduce the risk of high blood pressure and stroke. What’s more, this nutrient-packed, fat-free fruit is a great source of vitamin B6, which helps boost your immune system and assists in the formation of red blood cells.
Don't through soft bananas out. Peel them and freeze them. We use a great meal replacement shake called "Muscle Milk". When making a shake, usually for breakfast, we add hand fulls of frozen blueberries and frozen bananas. It's GREAT!
Many of our clients purchase our ephedra product along with FibraSlim. FibraSlim is stimulant free and should be taken with Metabdrine with ephedra, and can be taken by itself to maintain weight loss. It can also be taken late in the evening when you get the munchies.
